Residential Rental Property Manager *This Position is No Longer Available*

Permanent Full Time Position

Purpose: Build a portfolio of rental properties within Advent Real Estate Services Ltd.

Our company offers full rental property management services for individually owned investment suites and homes in Vancouver, Burnaby, North & West Vancouver and Richmond. We are now looking to expand our service to other suburbs Port Moody, Coquitlam, New West and will include our current South Burnaby portfolio

Duties: In your role as a Property Manager you will be developing a portfolio of rental properties through contacts provided by Advent Real Estate Services Ltd. as well as leads from outside Real Estate Agents and other advertising opportunities including cold calling on Real Estate offices and Presentation Centers. You will be building a reputation of superior service, quality tenancies and maximized rental rates in your area. You will also be advertising, showing and renting the suites you list as well as taking on all the responsibility of a Residential Property Manager (ie. emergency calls, bounced cheques, noise complaints). You will be in our Yaletown office for a portion of your day but will be on the road and working from your home office as required considering the distances.

Requirements:

  • Licensed in Rental Property Management (no exceptions)
  • Excellent knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Be able to Multi task and Prioritize
  • Self motivated while working from home
  • Fully functioning home office including computer, printer
  • Digital camera of good quality
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Possess a clean and valid drivers license

Remuneration: This position is a commission structured position based on experience, the Company offers a Blackberry
and gas allowance.

Leasing Administrator - Office Assistant *This Position is No Longer Available*

Permanent Full Time Position

Advent Real Estate Services Ltd. is a full service Rental Property Management Company serving the Lower Mainland. This is an entry level position in a growing company willing to give support and training to the candidate that acquires the position. We are offering a salary plus bonus. One-on-one training is provided; you will work directly with the Managing Broker in building and maintaining a Portfolio of 200+ properties.

Office Duties:

  • Maintain general email accounts
  • Answer phones, messages, general information
  • Mail, outgoing and incoming
  • Data Entry - Propertyware Database (we will train)
  • Prepare Leases and Tenancy Documentation
  • Collect and process rent cheques
  • Schedule work orders and repair
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Filing
  • Posting rental advertisements
  • General office administration
  • General customer service

Skills Required:

  • Proficient in using the Internet, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to learn new database software
  • Customer service and client relations
  • 2 years minimum office experience
  • Organizational skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Excellent Communication skills in English, other languages would be an asset
